If I'm not mistaking, freecreditreport.com offers the Experian Fako. Meaning that if you pull a score from Freecreditreport.com it will be a significantly different scoring model than used here on EQ and TU. You are not comparing apples to apples. You need to have looked at your reports and score here and then look at score again after the item was removed. Was the collection showing on EQ or TU? Also, check freecreditreport.com in a few days, you should see a bump (even though its Fako) this happened to me. For some reason the score didn't update for two days even though a CO came off. Of course barring any other changes on your report.

I just pulled my CR and one of my collections has been removed. Yeah. The only bad thing is that my score did not change. It was for a medical collection. Does it take a while for score to change after collection has been dropped? I am still happy that it is gone just wish the my score would of increased a little. It was one of my highest amounts in collection. Oh well. Still Good news.

Where did you pull your report from? I had one drop overnight as well and my score didnt move up or down. I THINK, and i may be wrong about this, but it can take time for the scores to change. especially if you are looking at a site that gives FAKO's.

I pulled it from freecreditreport.com. It only gives you one score. I did not pay to pull all 3 so I am not sure if it changed on the other 2 or not. So maybe it will change soon. I also was not sure if a medical collection is handled different and how they affect your score. I am so new to all of this. I am trying to fix it it all. I should have done all of this a long time ago, but I was thought I am fine it wont affect me. Wow was I wrong. Now I am just looking forward to getting everything removed. Not having the best of luck though.

To the best of my knowledge, freecreditreport.com is a fako provider. Pull from this site using scorewatch to see your actual FICO's.

I have pulled my report from here and it seems to be higher than what it was from freecreditreport.com. Thats a good thing. It was 41 points higher on myfico than freecreditreport.com. Not sure if that has anything to do with the collection or if they do the scoring different like you had said.

Thanks for the suggestion.
