Equifax 3-in-1 Credit report monitoring score

Is the Equifax score reported with this monitoring service a FICO (which it claims to be) or is it truely a FAKO? I'm really curious because if it is a true FICO then my score jumped from 602 to 647!!!!

It is not a FAKO. Jeesh!

I took advantage of the 30 day trial yesterday (www.equfax.com).

My score for the first time was 753. I immediately called my CU to apply for a CC and when they ran my CR, they had the exact same score of 753.

I was able to get a new Platinum Visa with no AF, with the lowest rate of 8.5% and a $10,000 limit.

Again, there are only two other places, as far as I know where you can get true FICO scores.

The first is Equifax.com and the second is www.transunioncs.com. Please do not use www.transuinon.com as their score is FAKO.

I've learned just about everything I know about credit & FICO here so I'm not a know-it-all in any stretch of the imagination but It would be helpful to those asking questions, if we would research an answer before replying. No disrespect intended...just advising.

It has to be a FAKO. How can a company offer scores that cheap....

The EQ score offered via EQ's service is a FICO score. It is the same version as found on here. The price break is due to the subscription to their 3-in-1 service. That's where they recoup their money.

To add to tubesock's list (equifax.com and transunioncs.com), you can also get your scores from myFICO or from a lender. You can get your EX FICO score from a CU in PA called PSECU as well as your lender.
