      <description>&lt;P&gt;I think you are asking whether your credit card company can sue you in order to collect on money you owe them.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Yes they can, and if they win the lawsuit, they will get a judgment against you.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;They'll have to properly serve you.&amp;nbsp; You'll need to "respond" or "answer" the lawsuit as the paperwork tells you, and then you'll need to go to your court date.&amp;nbsp; If you ignore it, then they'll just get a default judgment.&amp;nbsp; At the point that they sue you, if you can't pay them, then they'll get a judgment anyway.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Some plaintiffs (credit card companies or whoever) will "enforce" the judgment by garnishing your wages or by attaching (seizing) your bank accounts.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do you have some seriously delinquent credit cards that that you think might result in a lawsuit?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Absofrigginlutely...I went through the experience twice...the first time my wages were&amp;nbsp;garnished.&amp;nbsp; It was&amp;nbsp;utterly embarrassing to have my boss call me into her office to show me the garnishment papers that were sent to my job.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
