Goodwill - any luck with these companies?

My biggest problem on my credit is LATES - they are mostly 4-5 years old. I have sent Goodwill Letters out, but I understand it's best to target an Executive. I keep getting letters back that say "Thank you, but it is our policy not to change this". Anyways, has anyone had any luck with any of these companies? If so, would you mind messaging me and telling me what you did, please? Thank you!

Write to GEMB!!! After I'd talked to them on the phone about a CLI...about 10 days later...they sent me the wrong letter! Said they were telling the CRA's to remove any negative reporting! So I KNOW they play NICE!! This was for my care credit acct thru GEMB & the letter came from the bank...not care credit!

LOL I wonder if I ask BofA for a CLI on my imfamous BofA account, they will make the same mistake.

Keep sending letters. All it takes is just one CSR that may see things your way.

I have had luck with Macys. They took off 3 late payments that I had. I just called them and they did it. The account is still open so that may be the reason. Good luck.
