... that the kittens have all opened their eyes! I was feelign really guilty about raising up my kitten thread again since it's so gigantically off-topic... but now i can talk about kittens all stinkin' day! haahaaa!

And two of the ones that looked really black are more like a dark smokey grey, which is neat

I love kittens too. Dh is a dog person and I am a cat person...guess what we have? A big fat cat sitting in his chair right now!

*sniff sniff*...we got rid of all of our kittens a couple of weeks ago...and I'm not even a cat person! But gosh they were so adorable and fluffy and .....

I'm a BIG dog person...love my rottie and my husky and my boxer!!

We won't discuss how much groceries cost for them!!! lol

My sister's German Shepherd is also a cat person. It's his favorite chew-toy.

What's almost as bad is when dogs are fond of the taste of litter box contents. Ewwwwww

(There's a lot of undigested protein in cat doots, which explains dogs' interest in these.)

Our dog IS fond of catboxes.. we call it "digging for truffles"... We've learned to use covered litter boxes & put them catty-corner in the corner, facing the wall.

I had a pekingese that we got at 4 weeks old. She was raised with our Persian's and I guess she thought she was a cat too. She would use the litter box to do her business. Thank goodness she wasn't eating out of it though. That is nasty!!!

I had a dog that tops them all... he had severe emotional/anxiety issues. He would poop in his cage because of anxiety. Then he would eat it, we were told because he had shame issues on top of the anxiety. . Then he would barf up the poop. Then he would eat the poop barf. And then we'd come home and he'd be SO excited to see us because of the anxiety issues, and would have poop-barf-poop-barf breath. It was unbearable.

Agreed. I have had other dogs that were just fine with cats, but King--the German Shepard, was not having any of that foolishness. He'd have that poor thing scurrying away nearly everyday. Poor cat must've had nightmares about him. Nearly lost my best friend, b/c I thought it was funny that my dog liked the taste of his cat. LOL.
