I wonder if anyone has Academy Collections as one of ther debt collectors!They seem to be a pretty rought CA, who really doesnt care. Are they still around?

i dont know about Academy..but i have a Midland that i am gonna tackle as the last of my baddies and from the response on them on this broad i am preparing for a battle..maybe this show will give me something on them lol

Yeah it's a 3 part series on the financial crisis, it's very good. They should rebroadcast it. CNBC has had

some really good specials on the same topic.

To be honest, I was a debt collector for years and it was only so easy because people have no idea what their rights are. The things I have heard collectors say constitute at best breaking the law, at worst pure evil. Maybe I should write a book or something. Some of the stories are actually hilarious. I don't subscribe to the theory that all CA's are bad, just about 99.99999% of them. It just amazes me how clueless people are when it comes to their rights as a debtor.

Ya the inmates as debt collectors this is wild............ And I was going at it wrong all these years by sending GW Letters when I should have been sending cigarettes...
