Was your return delayed?

The "wheres my refund" link on irs.gov has changed my date from the 21st to the 22nd to the 27th!

They just changed it to the 27th sometime between lastnight and this morning. I hope they have just thrown the 27th out there as a "just in case". I know the 27th is Monday and thats not THAT long of a wait, but nothing would make me happier than to get it tomorrow

Did you use turbo tax? My sister did and got her's 1 day before the date they claimed. I used HRblock and got it right on the date the IRS website says.

I bet you'll get it on Saturday - but be sure and check your account late as well because that's when my sisters went in. Later in the day on Saturday.

I got mine 8 days after I had sent mine in. It was right on time. Federal came first on a Friday, State came on the following Monday.

I used TaxAct...I didnt get it today- Im still hopeful for tomorrow and LATEST Monday...

I filed through TurboTax and mine was delayed for a week beyond the anticipated date. State came in within a week, but Federal took over 2 weeks

I did my Federal thru my CU (Free) and received my return about 1 week later.

And I owe 17 to the State AGAIN?!?!?!?!?

How is it that I paid close to 2K to the State and still owe?????????????????????????????????????

Last year I paid like 1400 to the State and owed 18 and this year I paid the State almost 2K and still owe, what a bunch of ripoffs!!!!

Give ME some $$ will ya!

Nope, my refund wasn't delayed, but the IRS will be waiting on their refund until mid-April =)

I filed electronically on 3/7. Return accepted the next day. Federal refund is scheduled for the 27th. I have to pay $$$ for state.

I filed on 2/10 (a week before IRS started processing returns), my return was accepted on 2/18, got my return on 2/25...no state tax in Florida.

My IRS was not delayed, in fact 2 days early.

HOWEVER, the state owed me 231 and I got 11. This is because last year, when we were buying the house, and LO ordered tax transcripts, found out I didn't hit the SUBMIT button - though luckily I had paid. IRS told me you get a freebie once for doing something assinine like this, but the state said I'd get a penalty for not filing. Guess I got it!!

I'm not mad though....back last summer I needed those tax transcripts so bad that I swore to myself if I got them, I didn't care what fines/ fees I had to pay! July is a great time to file in terms of turnaround time - got the transcripts within a week of filing. I thought that was going to kill my house deal. It was so scary.

Don't use TAXACT. They're cheap, but not user-friendly!!
