What are your Pet Peeves?

You know, those little things other people do that annoy you.

I'd have to say on a forum I have 2:

1. U, UR, STH, NE...etc. Ha.

2. When people say "i could care less", when the actual correct usage would be "i couldn't care less"

u = you

ur = your/you're

sth = something

ne = any

and on and on. i can understand if you're on a cell...but if you're sitting at a keyboard and plunk out NE instead of ANY, come on. it's ONE keystroke to make yourself look like you're (ur) above the sub 80 IQ crowd. Ha.

I hate that too. Especially when your phone has a full

keyboard and even spells things and punctuates correctly for you!

My biggest pet peeve would have to be when people start (and NEVER STOP!!!) talking about something...something they know nothing about. They just sit there and continue spouting "buffalo chips," the worst being when they actually think they're correct and they aren't.

other ones would be (some already mentioned)

People who don't spell correctly, either on purpose (text speak) or on accident...

People who mess up "well" and "good." "I want my burger medium good please!"

People who are annoying

People who complain about other people being annoying, even though they themselves are annoying. xD

People who start arguments for no reason just to hear themselves talk

People who think zack galifanakis is funny

People who think SNL was good anytime after like the 90s (at the latest)

People who listen to dubstep

People who listen to dubstep in their car (even worse)

College freshman who go to bars and pretend to be drunker than they actually are

Any movie with adam sandler...in the past 5 years or so

There's more...I'll just have to think a little bit longer xD

Yesterday I called a home depot to see if they had a yard aeration machine available for rent. The lady on the phone said "we ain't got no rentals here." Apparently we ain't got no education either...

1. People who forget what it means to be courteous. What's so hard about saying, 'thank you, please, or you're welcome'?
2. Poor grammar, misspelled words and bad/lack of punctuation.
3. People's who say 'you know what I mean' every other word.
4. People who blow their nose at the table.

I'm sure there's more but this is off the top of my head.

People who wait in line, get to the front, and *then* think about what they want to order.

People who take forever in a store by writing a check.

People who don't use turn signals.

People who drive with their high beams.

People who drive with just their parking lights. (illegal in most states including mine)

People who slow to a crawl in a crowded parking lot to follow someone walking with their keys.

People who merge onto the freeway at half the speed of traffic. Or even less.

People who sit in the left lane on the freeway and won't move over for anything.

People who dump their shopping carts wherever in the parking lot.

People who think car alarms do anything other than annoy everyone in earshot.

I could go on. Forever.

Maybe I'm just a misanthrope.

Most of my peeves have helped me develop a kickin' case of road rage. BLINKERS! PLEASE!

Other things that bother me are the lack of common courtesy, and I have come to a the point of enjoying yelling "YOU'RE WELCOME" at strangers who say nothing when I have held the door open for them. (This happens almost daily)

People who can't feed their children but have 25 animals.

And Walmart.

I saw an emotional moment between two squirrels today, and one was dead. One was dead due to being hit by a car. The other came up to it and nuzzled up to it as I approached. And just as I accelerated I thought of you, and your squirrels.

Or worse, no lights at dusk/dawn. $10 says that if asked the person driving with no lights will respond "I can see just fine".

Agreed. The whole point of low beam headlights is so others can see YOU.
