Problem with my Chase Freedom card

I have only used it twice because I don't want anyone else to touch it. I've only used it at places where I do the swiping. I go to use it at other merchants but when they reach for the card at the last minute I tense up and hand them my Capital One.

I don't understand this thread, but you have $0 liability for fraud so don't worry about it so much.

I think I have the same problem, except I just want to keep on using mine (nobody else touchy ).

I think they're more concerned about the card getting scratches on it from other people swiping it roughly.

Sometime it's those merchants ancient machines where it takes more than 4 swipe to read the card lol

@JaeJae12 lmao or when they fiddle with the card with their hand, some cashiers are very harsh with cards. Funny how CCs are mostly cared about but Debit cards are "Meh its okay if it looks all beat up" hahha

Hahaha, well if it's OCD-related, one thing you can do OP is order a second identical card to keep in the front of your wallet, then have the second one to use for actual swiping hidden behind it.

My CSP has lines going across the top where it's normally swiped. At first I was like "NOOOO", but now I don't care as much.

To be honest, my favorite card to look at is the Chase Disney Debit Card. Midnight ftw.

What a useless thread...return the card to CHASE and ask them to give you a paper card (like Amazon store card)
