New Job Jitters

Well... pre-new job jitters, actually.

I passed a technical skills interview over the phone for this new job last week. A scheduled follow up Skype interview was cancelled because the company wanted to hire fairly quickly, so now I'm waiting for my second phone interview. Hopefully that will be today, and from what I've been told, there's a good chance they'll hire me from that rather than proceed with a final in-person interview as is customary. It's a full-time long term contract job that'll pay more than double what I'm making now from my main job and my side hustling. It's a very well known company, too; this may very well turn out to be a contract-to-hire gig.

The wait is killing me. I've been glancing at my cell phone every 2 minutes since I freakin woke up this morning!

What do I do to calm down? I'm sitting here in my cubicle at my current job, by the way, so liquor is out of the question.

HALP.

The phone interview has been pushed back to tomorrow. In the mean time, I've taken to chewing on ice cubes to relieve the stress.
