Bacardi Rum

Why can't Bacardi successfully make a good rum? I've now tried all 10 varieties of Bacardi Rum, and I have to say, none impress me.
This company takes in. $5b a year in sales, has the world's largest still, is the world's highest selling rum producer, and the most popular alcohol in history.

WHY can't they make a simple $30 sipping rum???

Is it just me? What do you all thing

the only rum i can stomach is bacardi silver and thats in a mojito lol

In all seriousness, the only rum that I moderately liked was the Barcardi Dragon Berry, but I wouldn't buy it on my own accord. There is much better rum out there.

I barely drink anymore, but I totally agree with you. I have never found a Bacardi worth drinking. Even mixed they are harsh and unpleasant.

That is very true lol Ive had it once. I also drank it staright up. Let me tell you that if you put that in the freezer, it gives it the cosistency of thick syrup, tastes like cherry medicine too.

The only Bacardi I've had that I like and would buy for myself is Oakheart, besides that I like Kraken Spiced Rum.

@SunriseEarth yes, Bacardi Anejo is the best one they make, because it's aged for so long. I'm just saying if you try 10 Cane, or Flor de'Cana, it just blows Anejo away (in my opinion) and they are like withing $2 of each other.

I've tried 10 cane, and I just can't finish it, it's been sitting around for a while, just not my thing I guess...
