Best welcome kit from a lender?

I just got my Discover It in the mail and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed. I had to stick my pinkies out while opening it.

I was also pretty impressed by the Discover it presentation. Of course, it was the only card I received which did not come in an envelope.

Discover definitely impressed me the most by far, it's very nice. Amex also sent a nice little packet type of thing, but the card itself was still just in an envelope if I remember correctly. Discover absolutely wins.

Discover's was very nice. I've never had any bank or lender send me anything that wasn't a white envelope before, heh. I keep everything so my welcome kit is in my "important documents" box in my closet.

I hear Citi Prestige has a nice welcome kit, too.

If you guys think Discover's presentation is impressive, then you haven't seen the Ritz Carlton Package by J.P Morgan. You'd probably be googly eyed when you see it

You should check Chase United Mileage Plus packaging .. it comes in a solid box with many books inside and the card too!

RITZ CARLTON from CHASE: Comes in magnificent black box with lots of books and best of all - a metal credit card that people oooh and aaah about when they see it!!!!!!

Yup, Discover's welcome kit was the nicest.. even nicer than Amex Plat or Chase CSP and they both have some hefty AF.

For me the ranking would have to go...

1. Ritz

2. Citi Prestige

3. Discover IT

4. Amex PRG

5. Marriott - (Yes, it comes in an envelope but they'll send it overnight...I can never get barclays or citi to overnight my cards (except the prestige card))

6. Everyone Else
