Anyone received the new chipped Sallie Mae Card design?

Logged into my account today and noticed this on my account

I havnt checked my mail in about 2 weeks. Im curious if mine arrived. Or maybe if its about to.

Nope, I called and requested mine 2 days ago. I will have it in 7 days. It's Chip & PIN

I have not received mine yet, but when I log in now, the card's picture has a chip, like yours!

Interesting ... when I log in my pic shows the SM with a chip. Suppose to get the card in a few days. Did not know they had them?!

Same thing when I log in but no physical new card came as of yet. Do I have to request it or will it just automatically come?

Im waiting on them to send me a card with chip, too. I wish they would make the card a bit darker on the blue. I think it would be a lot nicer looking. My landing page shows the card but Im still using the orginal card they sent me. hopefully it will come before October.

You need to do more research. On my login for Barclays it has a complete writeup on the new EMV Chip Card. The write up explains the Card can go as chip only or it can go as chip and pin when required or it can go as chip & signatire. The chip will work with the situation and be what is required. Called USAA and inquired of them too, they said their new chip cards will be whatever they need to be. Irish you need to check things out!

What's the deal. Some people can get the cards and others can't. I called and got the run around. Called a few days later and was told Barclays will issue the card with a chip when they were ready!

That's the same thing I was told on the phone but I was skeptical. So I ordered a replacement through the online system and 4 days later an EMV Sallie Mae was in the mailbox.

GetTheFico - totally cool way to get the card. May need a card mine went through the washer Hmm ... card was ruined so I had to go online and order a replacement!
