How Did You Learn of FICO Forums?

I maybe wrong but it seems like a lot of people here are in credit repair mode. I ended up here because I wanted to maximize my chances of being approved of better credit cards and just learn about credit overall in general.

I was searching for information after my bk on how to rebuild. I read many of books but I needed more information and this site was the best information I found.

Went to MyFICO to purchase a 3B credit report with scores. Saw they had a forum and decided to check it out.

I had been turned down by BOA and a local credit union for secured cards. So I started out looking for secured cards... found a couple of other sites for info. I saw myfico but it took me another month to come back to it. Once I started reading.... well the story is in my signature

When I started rebuilding, I googled credit card questions about 2.7 million different ways and this forum always popped up with some form of answer.

I was moving quick and needed to know my credit score for apartment applications. I initially did the free trial and well... that was almost two years ago.

I actually joined when my credit was stellar and I was looking for info on getting a collection deleted for the DW. She had 2 old medical bills and a car loan late if I recall.

Luck with a Google search for me! Was trying to decide if I wanted to dispute a Inq from a landlord who did not even have an apartment for me to move in... Decided it was not worth my time or hassle.

Googled multiple credit problems and they all had links to MyFICO forums
