What would it be? ONLY one.

For me, I guess the Amex BCE. Groceries and gas are big for me.

EDIT: I guess I should specify—one CREDIT card LOL. Debit isn’t part of this equation

Probably the Chase Sapphire Reserve, with a shout-out to the Barclay Uber Visa.

The BCP is good for what it's good for, but our grocery and gas spend isn't big.

(My BCE only recently became a BCP because Amex gave me 250 reasons to upgrade. )

Assuming that one card wasn't subject to the whims of things like random Financial Reviews, while on vacation...

I would go with a reputable credit union, with a large limit. They are unlikely to shut the card down for no good reason.

Either that, or a top tier travel card with a high annual fee. Like CSR, or Prestige. Again, they are unlikely to shutter for no good reason, particularly when receiving a high annual fee. Plus... exclusive benefits.

Yeah, you can keep the debit LOL. I know what you’re saying—Discover really does have great service/benefits.

If we are talking about cards we have in our wallets now, I would say my NFCU cashRewards. High limit, low interest, 1.5% back on everything, extra cash back from Member Mall offers.

Fantasy card thats currently out of reach — I don’t have one that I would consider worthwhile for all spending. I don’t like Citi DC and PayPal MC has too high of an APR to carry as my only card even if it does have 2% cash back normally and I don’t travel so Amex, Chase, and Citi’s other cards are out.

NFCU is also the least likely to take AA for actually using your card, being a credit union, so again another point for the CR.
