History of Amazon card - separated from another thread

Sorry, I'm a year late, but they threatened to close my Amazon Store card if I didn't use it. I replied "thank you" and they closed it.

Hey, I met the criteria of this thread! They were nice, I assumed it was pandemic related. I've had the card for 10+ yrs and used it once for a large interest free purchase. Pretty sure that's how I acquired the card.

Hey, I met the criteria of this thread! They were nice, I assumed it was pandemic related. I've had the card for 10+ yrs and used it once for a large interest free purchase. Pretty sure that's how I acquired the card.

Wait, what? Are you saying Sync had an Amazon store card 10 years ago??? Wow, wonder what i was doing back in 2011 lol, oh yeah still 4 years deep in bk not knowing i could have anything credit

Yeah I had the store card when I filed my 2010 BK (not IIB thankfully). It actually had the same design as my 2018 approval actually.

Yeah, it's 10+ yrs and the actual card is ever-so-lightly-laminated paper... paper thin, not plastic, but not meant to be in a wallet anyway.

I had that same paper card - they only sent it to you so you had a hard copy record of the account number I believe.

Exactly and no magnetic strip because it wasn't necessary.

My Amazon Prime Store Card is a regular, plastic card, which could be carried in a wallet...but why bother?! And I got it in 2014 or 2015.
