Airfare "credits"

Hi,

I have some money with both Alaska ($800) and Delta ($600) from canceled trips. Naturally, they won't refund the money, just provide "credit" for future travel. Any creative ideas on how to get that money from them?

You can try booking a refundable ticket with the credit then requesting a refund later, though if it's booked with a credit thay might give you that part back as a credit.

Thanks for the idea. I also stumbled across an idea that since I booked it with a Visa Infinite I may be able to get my money back via that.
