IRS payment plan confirmation

I set up a payment plan with the irs yesterday over the phone for 2021 taxes. I need confirmation to give to my underwriter ASAP. Does anyone have experience with this? How long did it take to receive confirmation? Can I go to a local irs office to get confirmation?

Have you tried logging in to the IRS website? Payment plan info should update in real time. Existing payment plans should show here:

Unfortunately, there is an error message when I try to access the online payment plan portal.

Unless it's solved by using another browser (and disabling any popup blockers you may have), a visit to your local office may be your best bet unless you can perhaps get them to fax over a confirmation to you. In my experience, they like to use snail mail for pretty much everything, though, and that may not be timely enough.
