If you get a chance, checkout the Netflix Series Dirty Money Season 2, Ep 1 Wagon Wheel. It's both eye-opening and infuriating all at the same time.

For a myriad of reasons, I'll never bank with them again. Are there any WF loyalist who disagree? I'd love to hear from ppl who agree as well as disagree. WF has ruined so many lives.

I banked with this institution since I was a teen when it was called (First Uniton) then to (Wachovia), and finally (Wells Fargo). I dropped Wells like 6yrs ago i think, After they opened two new checking accounts without my consent after banking over a decade with them. Later on I found out they were being penalized for the ill-practices. I was invited to join the class action lawsuit but did nothing with it since there was no loss to me other than being disrespected. Sleezy in my opinion

@FLLGuy - Sleezy is one of a few terms that come to mind. I've heard so many skuzzy things WF has done over the years. I had no idea until I had to deal with their underhanded practices regarding an old mortgage.

When Wells Fargo bought out Wachovia, I immediately closed all my accounts and moved to another bank. Even back then, they had a terrible reputation. Sounds like I made a good move.

I too inherited WF via the Wachovia acquisition. My mortgage was sent to them. I didn't know much about them then but I would soon find out. A whole mess!!
