Delta IFE question

Hello-

It's been a while since I flew Delta. Does anyone know what kind of connectivity exists on the A220-100? Do I need to bring a 3.5mm cable or will Bluetooth connect to the IFE?

Thanks, this is domestic fwiw. But it sounds like I'll need a 3.5mm cable if I want to use my Bose 700's.

The A220-100 and -300, while fairly new, do not have Bluetooth. AFAIK only the new A321neo (these are awesome by the way) has it throughout all of Delta's fleet. Definitely bring a 3.5mm cable. Thankfully I have only encountered the older two prong style on a few partner airlines. Earbuds are free up front and available for a nominal fee in the back, but they are pretty lousy.

Also the A220s are hands down the best of the smaller planes.

No longer charging for earbuds in the back. Free for entire cabin.

A220 is what happens when you take cardboard from inside of toilet paper, put some seats in it and call it a plane while everyone pretends it's a nice narrow body that "looks" spacious but it ain't.

It's a plane that should only be used to taxi to the real plane.

😂 🤣 While they could technically fly transatlantic, I don't think I would want to. But they are worlds better than the cramped old regional Embraer, Bombardier, De Havilland, and ATR planes. And thankfully out of BOS, all the 717 and MD-8x/MD-9x fleet seems to have been replaced with either A220 or A321 at this point.
