I mean I don't spend a ton of money here, but that's like the main/ only feature of this card (other than the 0% APR promos). If I grow some of my other limits I may just close this, I see offers better than 5% with my prime cards anyways

You don't need the IKEA credit card though to become an IKEA Family member and that membership is (until next February) what gets you the 5% discount.

Yeah, I was more so being sarcastic about it, but I see how what i wrote is conflicting.

I'd say it's a bit more confusing than conflicting. Comenity is in the title of the thread and you stated "If you go for the free hot drink, then I guess this card still has some value" and "the main/ only feature of this card (other than the 0% APR promos)," yet this change has nothing to do with Comenity or the IKEA Projekt card, and the 5% off (rather than 5% back as mentioned) was an IKEA program not at all related to this card.
