Google adwords account hacked!

Hey guys, I'm new to this cybersecurity world... You hear it all the time on the news but didn't think that you would be a victim of it, now I'm trying to figure out how to prevent it from happening in the future. Yesterday I logged into my old Google account, my email is full and then I went into my adwords account just to see, and I got a notification saying to add funds cause it was low. Come to find out, somebody made an ad with BS ads and stuff like that. Ran about almost $400... But, I didn't get no email, no mail, nothing from Google. So I just deleted the account.

While doing my research, I realize what they was doing was cookie session hijacking. But, on this video they said to use nohttp only but I read that it's better to use HTTPS-Only Mode
HTTPS provides a secure, encrypted connection between Firefox and the websites you visit. How do I use http-only? I don't see it from my Firefox browser.

I'm not going to lie, with all my banking stuff I have everything autofilled. I'm happy that they didn't get into those account, it's the hassle of just remembering and filling out all the time on the sites or logging in and out and doing is cumbersome. From what I read, Google is useless when it comes to customer support. All I see is a outstanding balance it says -$77, but for about 5 months but I just see it for one month. My thing is how do they even charge to my adwords account? If I didn't have no payment method, maybe they could use stolen credit cards but even then it would have charged on that credit card. Why do I have to foot the bill? I don't understand. I'm just so lost with all of this.

I know that you're suppose to pay your debt instead of going into collections but honestly, it's not my fault... If it goes to collections so be it, it's debt over advertising not for credit card debt.

Please help!

If this was just a payment type question then the PF area would have been the correct place.

How do I use http-only?

Other questions like the above make your post a little more convoluted and hence it was moved here.

If this was fraud then I would contact the credit card issuer regarding this. A provisional credit back may get someone else / another dept from

Google take a look at your hack.
