Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew if Direct Loans would do Rehab on a student loan that is already being garnished?

As long as it's a federal loan that hasn't been rehab'd previously (there are some exceptions if it was rehab'd a very long time ago), then you can rehab it. Contact the CA that has the loan(s) currently and let them know you'd like to start the rehab process. I believe they will stop the garnishment at some point, possibly after a few payments have been made?

My pay was being garnished I called set up the rehab and had them send the papers to my hr office the same day to release the garnishment.
