Any luck with early exclusion?

My defaulted student loan falls off 11/2015 according to all three reports. When I called and spoke with a representative he read me the script of how it will reamin on my report for 6.9 years and they are required to report, blah, blah, blah!!!! I REALLY want to buy a house early next year(Feb, March) BTW-loan has been paid off for years now.

I would love for this to be gone before then,...My question is-has anyone had any success with having then removed for the fall off date? Mine are with AES/Brazos.

At this age, even the impact of a default has lessened somewhat, are you sure that this tradeline will disqualify you from a mortgage loan? I would suggest talking to a lender - bring along a copy of your report and ask them if they think you would qualify now, and what the impact on your rate would be if you waited to apply until the loan falls off.

Thanks for the advice. I don't think the loans will be an issue to get a mortgage. It's more just for myself. I have been working on fixing my credit report after years of just neglecting it. I have one collection that I am in the process of PFD and this student loan. Once these two things are off, I will have a spotless report....I just an becoming inpatient and want to see it gone!
