Do GW letters work for Student Loan lates??

I was late 120+ last year, but I've since been current. This is hurting my score. Has anybody had luck with sending GW letters for Student loans??

Who's the lender? SM is usually a no go.. but keep trying.. I believe that one day someone will open a letter and realize that there is compassion in the world

I sent off an e-mail recently to Citibank (The Student Loan Corporation) and it was a no go.

They gave me the 'ol 'sorry we have to report accurately to the agencies'.

I'm trying again, by snail mail this time. I've heard it takes persistence.

Has anyone had success with a phone call???
