I know it doesn't really matter in the long run but it's very annoying to me that my car loan is considered one of my derogatory factors of my score. I bought my car in July so the loan is just being reported. It's considered too high a balance to original loan. Well duh! I have only had to make 2 payments so far. I actually pay an extra 100 to the principal to help it reduce faster but really. I know the bump I get from having an installment loan is nice and my score is in the 740s but still annoying.
