MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: After surprisingly getting a loan for the mustang and for such a good rate I went in to see about refinancing of the Mazda to get out from under my Santander loan which had 47 months left at 24% apr and $430 a month. It only made sense that they would help me lower payments to help pay for the other car. They were super nice and approved me and while looking at my credit report the lady said my one credit card with a $200 limit wasn't enough to really help my credit so she talked me into applying for one of there cards and I got approved for a $2000 limit. On top of that I found out they are giving $250 any time you open up a account and get a car or mortgage loan so I ended up opening a new account and getting $500 combined for the mustang and Mazda loans.
Quick side note- 3/1 the dealer pulled a 523(589 auto enhanced score) with 7 items on my report. On 3/8 they pulled a 591(non auto enhanced) at the bank with 2 items on my report. Just a few minutes ago I received a email saying my dispute results are ready and pulled my scores off of here and both reports have me at 632 with 0 items reporting. 109 point increase in 7 days. Not to sound soft but I cried a little as it has been 8 months and almost $20k paid off to medical collections and countless hours on the phone everyday.
I seriously have to thank everyone that has ever posted on this forum as I couldn't have done it without you guys. Well I could have but not so quickly LOL!
Congrats

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: Very very happy to be approved through NMAC, I went around Oct 2012 and the dealer wanted to make me sign for 18% APR, Walked out of there, Paid off a few baddies and came out way lower!! I also was approved for Capital One Blank Check for 9.2% but decided against that obviously. I am 25 yr. old recent college grad, with some Student loan missed payments due to negligence. Glad to be financed at that rate and hope to join NFCU and get refinanced in 6 months.

You will have to make large payments to create some equity. Otherwise with that small downpayment you will be upsidedown and struggle to refi.
Finally, I qualify to post on this topic!!!!
