Well I never expected this.. I went in for a test drive and up front told them I was going to my credit union and showed them their rate 2.79. I hadnt even joined alliant yet and without knowing my score the dealer said they would match.. lol.. I had a repo from 2006 that shows paid on my TU report and they still basically matched the Credit Unions rate. I put 1000 down and traded in my Ford Taurus that was on its last leg and paid off. Funny thing is this car payment is about the same as my Taurus that was at a 18% intrerest.. The car is one owner with the premium / navigation and illuminated kick plates.. Still getting used to the thing but LOVE IT.. It does pay to fix your credit. Also I did get the 72 Months but I am paying more than my 384 a month payment..

Can you get a loan thru Ford again if you have had late payments with them in the past?

I was late multiple times in the 2008 / 2009 time period with Ford and want to get another loan for a 2014 model.

I have had 2 other cars since then with perfect payment histories but they were not Ford's.

 Do you think I can get their premium rate?
