MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: If I had done a 48 month term, the APR would've been 1.99%. Highly recommend NFCU if you're eligible. They approved me for $30K, and sent me a draft, which means dealers treat you the same as a cash buyer if you reveal it to them.

Do you tell the dealers you are a cash buyer, or have a pre-approval from NFCU lined up?

I did prepproval with NFCU, and they sent me a draft. That made me the same as a cash buyer for the dealer once I told him about it.
I think NFCU does the same thing with used car loan preapprovals as well.
