Did you get any injuries?

Also, I've posted comments about my brand new BMW Z4 some time ago in these forums. I enjoyed that car. My very first BMW. I bought it in late 2021. It was listed as a 2022  model. I love it! I had the car for about over a year (2022 model). I even got so many compliments with that car (I'm more than sure you did too). Everytime I get into the car, it feels like I just bought the car yesterday. That's how much I enjoyed it. But sadly, my BMW Z4 has gotten totaled as well as of recent

I'm a little embarrassed to say this, but I've been a little emotional about that car on how much I miss it. But thankfully we're all ok, which matters the most.

Also, I've posted comments about my brand new BMW Z4 some time ago in these forums. I enjoyed that car. My very first BMW. I bought it in late 2021. It was listed as a 2022  model. I love it! Thanks haha, yeah I broke my clavicle which was the extent of my injuries for the most part, other than a sprain and some bruising (seat belt sliced through it). I probably would've been fine had the seat back not broken (it was faulty from the factory and the frame was due to be replaced but I insisted on driving the car until the new part arrived, so during the accident the impact made the seat basically go fully flat reclined and I'm guessing I ended up flying forward smacking into the seat belt pretty hard). I have another one that's due to arrive this month or beginning of next, I'll post some pics of that one haha, msrp of 185k, frozen orange exterior and fiona red/black interior.

I'm glad you're doing ok. Hopefully you'll recover soon! I actually know that excitement feeling when you want to drive the car until it arrives, regardless of something being faulty (I would have done the same thing). Wow, what you said sounded pretty intense and scary. The car must've been going pretty fast for an impact like that. I'm looking forward to see some of your pics. The BMW frozen colors look amazing. I think that's a good combination of colors you have. I also made another BMW order after mine's crashed, too lol. Mine's is going to be frozen gray exterior and magma red interior. It should arrive in a few months.

Not going to sugarcoat it,  that looks pretty bad. Thank goodness you walked away. 

And I'm 100% certain you were going the speed limit like all law abiding citizens would do😁.

The upside is, another Bimmer is on the way. 

Honestly,  is there a more fun vehicle to drive than a BMW?

Had surgery (this happened last July for reference) just got the hardware removed and set to get stitches out on wednesday.... last Sunday (April 30th) got t boned by a red light running cab in my tesla so that's gone and I'm back to the drawing board in terms of recovery...

And I'm 100% certain you were going the speed limit like all law abiding citizens would do😁.

The upside is, another Bimmer is on the way. 

Honestly,  is there a more fun vehicle to drive than a BMW?

It was pretty bad... luckily I wasn't hurt too bad all things considered and the wife walked away with literally a scratch on her leg from the radio popping out of the dash. And believe it or not I wasn't actually speeding, but it did happen on a highway so fair amount of speed before going completely sideways into the trees with 0 traction (there are no tire marks until the very edge of the shoulder and I was 3 lanes away from the shoulder), so whatever I hit either broke an oil line or something or the guts just went all over the tires... 

As far as the new BMW being good news I think I'm cursed... it's my 4th bmw that was totalled during 3rd month of ownership, heck even bmw totalled one from port damage before I took delivery... exactly 3 months after production😂, my f10 m5 rear ended by a drunk audi driver. My 335 convertible rear ended at a stop light by a teen on his cell phone, and my 328xi hit while parked during a snow storm😂 so I'm gonna park this next one during the 3rd month and not touch it😂. But yeah... Definitely nothing more fun than a bmw, though sad to have my tesla go, it was basically a free car because of gas prices and stuff

Take care of you and the Mrs. I don't think you're curse but something weird is definitely happening with your luck with cars. Here's hoping from here on you have things go your way. Sounds like you probably live in the northeast. If that's the case, cars do tend to take a lot of punishment in that region of the country.

Haha thanks, but yeah... I definitely haven't been the luckiest with any of my cars... every single one I've owned was totalled not by my fault (unless you count me hitting the animal and going into the trees as partially my fault lol), either physically or mechanically (had a 2019 camaro 2ss, engine blew 3k miles after I bought it at 25k miles, none of the 5 warranties I had on the car wanted to touch it, eventually lucked out because bank pulled financing and dealer had to take it back) 

And yeah I am in the northeast, what gave it away? I just find it amazing that apparently it's just normal for **bleep** like this to happen.... like it's normal to get rear ended or tboned, apparently I'm the 40 something thousandth accident in my state so far this year and that's just wild to me. Just in my area last week same day I had my accident there were 3 others... like we really need some higher standards for driving tests and getting your license imo. My test a few years ago considered of a closed course with a 15 mph speed limit. Stop sign, stop sign, right turn, cul-de-sac, left turn, left turn, parallel park, k turn, left turn, stop sign. That totally means I'm ready to go drive in traffic after passing that... thankfully I grew up driving cars and carts and stuff since I was like 3 otherwise I could only imagine I'd be like some of these other people I know that live around me that I swore to never get in a car with ever again😂. Heck during covid my wife's was even better: instructor outside of the car, left turn, 3 point turn, parallel parking. DONE only reason she passed was because i was sitting in the car telling her keep going, keep turning, straighten out etc. Other than that I have banned her from driving because she's literally a danger to herself and others. Can't judge her speed properly, can't turn properly, doesn't add enough steering, on two occasions she's crashed into a concrete barrier or sidewalk because she tired to take a 90 degree plus turn at like 45 mph (the speed limit) with about 15 degrees of steering angle so I was like ok. You're done before you get hurt or you put someone else in the hospital. But I see her friends that aren't much better and I'm just like how do you not have some self awareness to realize what a danger you pose to people. Of course I'd never say that to anyone these days because it's 2023 and entitlement is through the roof, but it just amazes me how they even got a license when they couldn't pull out of a parallel parking spot with like 2 ft in front and behind and called me to move my car because "I parked too close" apparently 4 ft of room was not enough😂
