Easy as easy gets. Asked for $25k online, approved for $31,250 72 months @ 6.66% on Wednesday around 3pm. Overnighted the check, walked out with my keys in hand 5pm last night. Not sure which report they pulled. Scores are below. I talked to the finance guy for a few minutes while he was doing my paperwork. He confirmed that when auto dealers pull scores the numbers are a little higher. He also said that money for buying cars isn't nearly as tight as the media would suggest. They just aren't allowing huge upside down amounts to be rolled into new loans. Loan to value seems to be a bigger deal these days. Just thought I'd share.
Ended up with getting the truck for $22,300(msrp of $32,800). Add in the $1800 in tax and I financed $24,100ish. Should come out to a little over $410 a month.
