Cap1, co-signer release?

DW and I bought my car in 2017 when my score was 506. Score today is 698 FICO and 726 (Cap1). Currently looking to knock about 20k in auto debt (my car) off of DW's credit report to better our DTI for the mortgage we are looking to get.

Does anyone know if capital 1 does co-signer releases?

Congrats on the progress you've made in rebuild. My inidital thought is you'd have to refinance in your name only to remove her name.
Then I saw this:

It might be worth calling cap1 and or reading the terms of the auto loan.

Thanks...I figured I would have to do that. My initial thought was to refi...but Iwas 6k under in LTV when I tried to go through my CU. Will be giving Cap1 a call here soon.
