My wife and I were discharged from BK 7 in November. We surrendered both of our vehicles during that time....
We have been living with only one vehicle for the last 6 months and it's been a pain. Yesterday we decided to apply with Capital One Auto Navigator. We've always heard stories about how good they were, but we were a little skeptical.
We applied online and were pre-approved for $55,000. They just wanted us to submit our paystubs. (We were still skeptical)... found a 2020 Tesla Model 3 Performance for 48k. I inquired about it online and said I had the capital one per-approval. They called me within the our and said we see the approval and they wanted get it done ASAP. I swear I spent only an hour total purchasing this car. They emailed me all the paperwork and everything that I needed. I emailed it back and bam it was done. I'm having the car shipped from GA to FL tomorrow. My APR was 8.5%. I was actually surprised it was that low because of the recent BK 7.
We are extremely happy with the whole process. Capital One made this so easy to purchase a vehicle that we really wanted. We will definitely use them again in the future.
Congrats on the approval!
I am looking at the Tesla 3 for my commute since our workplace installed L2 chargers...

Congrats on your approval! Thanks for sharing - I'll keep them in mind as an option for my future car purchase. I also have a recent BK 7.

Congrats on the approval! I got financed at Carmax about 2 months after getting kicked out of a Chpt 13. They gave me a whopping 24% rate but I had to get the car and bite the bullet on that rate as my other car was on it's last leg. 7 months later after ontime payments I applied for a refinance with another company (getting a mailer from Open Roads lending) and got my rate down to a 7%! So with saying that I would look into getting that rate lowered by refinancing with another company after at least 7 ontime payments so that you can save money.
Six months after my BK7 was finalized, I was able to get a loan from Capital One for a new car, BOOM.
Yeah IR is 13.2%, blah I'll get a refi soon.
