Co-signer good fico but no income?

I'm in need of a vehicle. My scores are 551,579,599. I anticipate from reading here that Ill have a tough time getting an auto loan. I have a decent job and income. Just checked the wife's scores-way better then mine,680,699,734. But she has no income. Will listing her as a co-applicant accomplish anything?

If the deal/vehicle purchase budgets with your income only then its not a problem since you may get a better rate with her on the loan than under your name only.

Might help with a better rate, but they will take into consideration her debts as well as yours.  If combined DTI is low, than no worries adding her, it will help you.
