DCU approved!

Well I was weary about applying due to tons of new low limit cards I opened, 53 inquiries, and an unpaid collection for $1200 from 2013 but finally pulled the trigger! They approved me for refinance of my Exeter loan with 19% APR. Approval was 30k at 1.99%. Just passed there cutoff for best interest rates with a 676 FICO04. Asked about a credit card and they were weary due to a bunch of low limit cards. Put me on hold and came back with a 5k approval! My other highest limit is Barclays at $1750 I just got a few weeks ago! It can be done. My monthly gross income is around 5k if anyone is wondering.

53 inquiries.....  I think it is time to garden for a while!  Smiley Happy

Re: DCU approved!

Went from $720 to $487, pending membership approval which has me spooked :-/ I don't have anything on ChexSystems, have an account with my local credit union I opened in 2010-2011, opened an account with SDFCU 3-4 months ago, and on my credit report I have one open collection. I have to call back Monday once they've had a chance to go over my documents DL, SS card, and they wanted a utility bill which I have none in my name so sent a loan bill.
