Mercedes Benz Financial

Anyone have any experience financing with Mercedes Benz Financial? Curious if they're in any way similar to BMW Financial Services. I financed a car through BMW and can't complain with the interest rate (1.9%) at the time and they make the finance part easy. However, getting the title from BMW after I paid off the loan was a nightmare. Any thoughts if there's similarity between the two?

Re: Mercedes Benz Financial

I had a 09 CLK 550 from Mercedes Benz Financial and they were very easy to deal with.  I doubt you will get a 1.9% loan, all depending on the car from them as certain cars have certain interest rates with MBF.  Not sure if your questions was related to are they good to deal with or APR or title related.  Sorry still early in morning and have jet lag, but a good company to deal with none the less

Edit.  I believe they did hold the title, but wasn't a problem getting it provided for resigration or copy sent for registration where I lived and when I eventually traded it in for them to pass it over to dealership.  Hopefully this answers your questions

Re: Mercedes Benz Financial

Hi...yes, I agree with a good or excellent credit score it shouldn't be an issue to get financing through Mercedes Benz financial. Just curious what they're customer service is like. I checked interest rates and they're competitive with my bank, Wells Fargo, so that's a plus. I'll probably end up doing a pre-approval with Wells Fargo before I visit the dealer so all of the financing is out of the way and be able to confidently negotiate on the price.

Re: Mercedes Benz Financial

Mercedes Benz Financial treated me excellent and assume for the most part would do that to most people due to dealing with pretty upscale clients that expect good customer service.  I believe they are based out of Texas if memory treats me correcty.  If you decide to finance with them they are great to deal with.  I miss my Mercedes, might be dealing with MBFS again soonSmiley Happy.  Best of luck to you!

Customer service is great (as least from what I could recall).

Are you leasing or buying the car?

You can always get pre-approved with MBFS first. At the dealership, you can also insist that the dealer themselves do NOT pull your credit and just have MBFS pull it themselves. Most dealers will say no, but there's a few that can do it. This is usually not a problem at all if you have stellar credit (720 and up). If your CS is lower, then they usually have to pull it just so they can figure out payments for you, especially if its a lease.

If you know your scores are good, just have the dealerships do the calculations based on tier 1 credit before they even run your credit report. That way you can hop around different dealerships comparing prices rather than to have each dealership run your credit once.
