Re: More about Roadloans

I was approved for a Roadloans blank check through Lending Tree after my CU denied me. They approved me for what I asked for but with a high interest rate ( i believe 16.99% or 13.99% I can not remember off hand..one of them was Direct loans). I never used it because the dealership was able to get me a better deal. I have not heard anyone here on the forums having problems with the blank checks. Only that interest rates were high and some refinanced after 2 yrs of good payments. ROadloans seem to be a common loan supplier for auto loans. Just in case you wanted to know at the time of the pull (hard pull on all 3 CBs) my scores were 550.

Re: More about Roadloans

I got an excellent rate from roadloans for a used car.  One word of caution...they have no grace period.  If you're more than two days late they begin to call and call and call.  Sometimes every 10 minutes on re-dial.  Very annoying.

Re: More about Roadloans

Would anyone dare to apply to roadloans with scores around 530?  I really need to get some kind of loan for a year, then my credit should be a lot better to refinance.

Re: More about Roadloans

Another thing about Roadloans- I was going to apply (with a co-signer) last week, but called them and the rep on the phone said they were just bought out by Drive Financial and now are only licensed in a FEW states.  He did say that they're getting more states every month, so I'd call and ask if they're licensed in your state before applying.

Re: More about Roadloans

I wouldn't want to see the rate on that loan. Why not buy a beater car and save your monthly payments for a downpayment to use in a year?
