Over the weekend I took my DW car shopping. Found a 2012 Subaru Legacy that she really liked, so we went ahead and purchased it. I applied online Sunday night, approved over night (text message at 415am PDT) on the 31st. 2.99% (lowest APR for 2012 and older cars over 36 mo's... yay!)
The thing that shocks me the most, I pull my credit report on a regular basis on USAA, just to keep track of the changes(if any). Today, one day after being approved for the loan, it shows up on my Experian report!! I haven't even taken the check to the Dealership yet! (received today via FedEx) lol
Most likely it's just because it was the end of the month and they update my checking/savings/LOC on the 1st. Still have until May 15th to make first payment.
Just thought i'd share my experience
Congrats!
The posting of the loan is a bit premature IMO. Another poster stated the same thing. Only diff is they ended up canceling the loan, however it's now on there report and will possibly effect their AAOA. Anywho.
There are many post on here about DCU, is there a reason you did not use them since their rate is even lower than NFCU?
Congrats again!!

I've been a member with NFCU for 17 years.. and I like to keep my installment loans with my current banking institutions.
Congrats on the approval ! Do you know if they pulled EQ or TU ?

They Pulled EQ for me. Wish they'd pulled TU (EQ is my highest inquiries right now)
