Mom recently got into an accident. Not her fault.. But her 08 Toyota Avalon was totaled. After looking at almost every car dealer known to man she finally settled on a new 2023 Honda Cr-v Sport Hybrid. Today she submitted an app to get preapproved. Approved for up to 50,000 @ 4.74 for 60 months. All scores are above 780. NO HPs have been alerted as of yet if she gets an auto loan off an SP that would be the STEAL OF THE CENTURY. Will keep you guys updated!
Any update? I got an instant HP after submitting my online app. I was approved for 48k at 6.94 for 72 months though. . Mine is for a used car (late model 2020-2018). My fico is 770s. Perhaps I should call them for recon on my interest rate.
@MRSTMD - Compare that rate against Capital One Auto Navigator (it's an SP then an HP if you decide to take their offer). Maybe there's something in your profile with Navy they aren't too warm and fuzzy about. With your score think you'd be a Tier1 for most lenders including captives. However, keep shopping around I think you can do better.
Looks like 4.54% is NFCU's lowest advertised rate currently: https://www.navyfederal.org/loans-cards/auto-loans.html
Any HP come thru? What is NFCU pulling for auto?
@DCnDC TU HP did show up.
I got a preapproval from CapOne Auto Navigator up to $59,000, 8.9% for 84 months. It was a SP. I'm still shopping around as the vehicle we want is expensive and want 84 month financing.
I got an instant TU pull on my app
