I’m looking for a lender that will do a loan for a purchase from a private seller. My credit scores are both right at 600 with TU and Equifax. I have a bankruptcy from 6 years ago that was dismissed (long story) and 3 charge offs from that same time. The charge offs will drop off in the next 12 months, which will hopefully help my score, but unfortunately I need to buy the car now. I tried going through my credit union but was essentially told to take a hike, so I’m hoping there might be folks here who can recommend a company that would work with someone like me. I’ve got an annual income of $94K and no other debt besides the charge offs from 6 years ago, and the vehicle is a $30K Toyota Tundra. I really appreciate any advice or recommendations. I’ve searched online but it seems most sub-prime lenders only want to go through their dealer networks.
