I didn't know that the other party's insurance company will reveal his policy limits. My attorney didn't mention anything about it since I forgot to ask him, but that was what my insurance agent told me. I'll double check with my attorney on Monday.
My insurance company probably will be going after his own assets since I doubt his insurance limits is enough to pay for the car. He has a really old Toyota minivan and only liability coverage, so it's more than likely that he just bought the minimum coverage requirement.
