Where should I apply for an auto loan?

I am 19, AAoA is 10 months. I have about 12k in CC's, paid off each month. My EX Score is about a 700. I have 10 INQ's on my report. I am looking to get a vehicle loan somehwere but I am not sure where. The vehicle I am looking to purchase is a 2005 Truck, with 86k miles. I need a loan for about 17,000 (With no money down, could put 2k down?). I am not sure where I can apply, or if I'll even get approved. My income is about 12k per year, but I am going to school in the fall, and will probably just get a part time job.

I'll be honest, virtually nobody is going to finance you with 1k/month in income. Generally auto lenders look for 2k/month...some will take like 1200-1500/month. Is that 1k/month figure pretax? And are you forgetting any other sources of income?

Thats after taxes. I get financial aid (grants) but other than that no.

What's your income BEFORE any taxes? Most lenders won't use financial aid or count it as income.

Also do you have anyone who can cosign for you?
