Which FICO is being used for auto??

Just wanting to know which score I should pay attention to the most.  My scores are only in the 739 range and I have a long history of auto payments. I don't get it?

Re: Which FICO is being used for auto??

all of them =) It all depends on the bank pulling the scores, they can pull and use whatever they want. Each bank tends to use a specific score though, they don't just pull at random.

Even for auto specific loans, some use auto enhanced scores, some use standard FICO8, of FICO9, or even mortgage scores! The best thing to do is if you have a bank, or banks, that you are interested in then you can search on here to see what they use. In addition to that, you can simply call them and ask them which bureau they pull and which scoring model they use.

Also, 739 is a great score and will get you the best rates for 99% of stuff out there.

Current Score: EQ 708 | TU ??? | EX 714
Score highs: EQ 715 | TU 704 | EX 718 (02/2020)
Starting Score: EQ 616 | TU 614 | EX 585 (02/18/2018)
Goal Score: 740
