What do banks typically use as the value of a new car when calculating LTV? Sticker? Invoice? Actual sales price? Whatever the goat entrails tell them? Something else?
From what I have read when looking at financing most use what they call fair market value, basically that value is just under sticker price. Some do MSRP. None will do sales price because so many dealers add stuff to run the prices up.
