10 year old bankruptcy falls off October

Applying for a job at a fincnancial institution, They are going to do a credit check. I have a bankruptcy 10 years old in October and due to fall off ( Chapter 7). Current credit score comes up about 730...we have paid timely since bankruptcy..wondering if the bankruptcy will hurt my job chances????

I suppose it could be a problem, but your score is good and this BK is very, very old. My guess is you should be fine. If they have questions, be forthcoming, don't lie.

Thank you...do you think I should tell them about it as I should get the offer letter and a form to sign it is ok to check my credit.....

I agree with fused. If the job is for a financial position, perhaps you should notify them about it. But, since it was 10 years ago, I wouldn't worry about it. You've done well since as your score proves it.
