12 month post chapter 7 discharge

Quick question on my credit report one of my factors determining my score is the chapter 7 discharge since its too "new of a delinquency " I'm close to being at my 12 month mark for discharge once that happens will I see a bump in score? Right now im sitting around a 605-620

Re: 12 month post chapter 7 discharge

Congratulations on making it to your one year milestone! I didnt see any type of increase with my year anniversary. Have you began to re-establish credit? Re-establishing after your bankruptcy is the only way you will start to see significant increase in you scores. There are many threads available in this forum to help you bounce back quickly.

If I remember correctly I got a noticeable increase around 24 months. One year feels so good though, congrats on your progress. Before you know it 5 years will pass Smiley Happy

Re: 12 month post chapter 7 discharge

Wait until you reach the 13th month after your discharge.  You will see a bump at the 24th month post bankruptcy and at the five year mark. If you followed Soulmaster’s plan, you will be at 700+ within 24 months.
