So checking my scores via Experian Premium my scores are Ex: 495 Eq: 574 Tu: 512 I am assuming that the Ex and Tu are the more accurate of the scores. They are all pretty much identical reports. Kinda funny how Equifax and Experian have traded places. I really am not to concerned about my scores ATM because they are going to change 200 more times before the end of the bankruptcy. BUT my main concern is that everything is reporting IIB that should be except for an overdraft loan I opened with my previous main bank. I never made a payment until 5 months in, 2 months before bankruptcy. That overdraft loan was reported as closed, "Placed for collection" with a balance of $666 and past due of $0 (odd?). There is no indication that it was IIB. I had this bank IIB on other loans and the collection agency that was put in charge of collecting it. However that collection agency also had another account with me from my previous rental. Is this account supposed to be updated by the Bank? my MOC hasn't came up yet but this account should have been updated with the other accounts I had with this bank, atleast I would assume it would go with them. Is it to early to worry about it?
You need to be patient. The general recommendation is to check that everything is reporting correctly (IIB with a $0 balance) 30 days after discharge.
Would like to tell you, that was bad advice to just "wait". After contacting my attorney and the bank, It was left out of the bankruptcy. The bank is stating I still owe it and the Attorney said it wasn't included due to a miss-communication. So instead of stating after discharge I would have a lot more mess to clean up then now. Luckily I am able to get this corrected without a dismissal.

It's kind of a bizzare process. I was advised to include everything on my bankruptcy including debts that were no longer on my report from 10+ years ago. Also strange how everyone and their mother knows that you filed. Including fingerhut which I didn't owe any money to but they closed my good standing account and left the remark "Bk 7". A perfectly good account at $0 balance turned negative, seemed so unfair. So who knows maybe they would of caught wind of your bankruptcy and thrown themselves in it for the heck of it.
The problem isn't that they are reporting included, the problem is that they aren't. The credit union and the collection agency are listed on 341 recipient list.

Did you not give all debts owed over to your attorney? I'm curious about the miscommunication thing. What does that mean, would you please explain further?
I imagine that attorney charged a pretty penny and honestly with legal counsel you shouldn't encounter this issue unless you failed to provide all debts or the attorney missed something.
@dragontears would techincally be correct if the BK was filed properly the first time. It can take 30 days for accounts to update correctly after the discharge not before. However your issue is a debt that wasn't included in the original filing. Basically, I blame your attorney.
The debt was on the paperwork filed, and I told him again after we were going over everything. They are charging me just about 2k including the filing fees. But the blame is on the Attorney, for sure. That was just their excuse. I am most likely going to be going after them in small claims about this. I just haven't full looked into the laws around selling services and not providing said services in Idaho. But I can tell you that I am going to list the debts that were not included and the full cost of the attorney in the claim.

Has your bankruptcy been discharged yet?
Edit: I read the 341 thread. I have more questions about the family heirlooms but eh... This shouldn't be an issue since you aren't discharged. Your attorney should be able to go ahead and amend the filing to include the missing debt or is probably already in the process based on your posts. This may or may not delay the discharge date. After discharge it would have been a nuisance for sure. I would advise you to chalk it up and not pursue small claims but that's just me lol, do you!
Now you know at the least to not recommend them to anyone else. I'm not an attorney but when I went and saw two of them the first thing they wanted was a copy of my credit report and any debt paperwork I had. Then I took their advice and left. I was no assets so I used a preparor ($200) to have everything correctly filed and then just paid the court costs.
