I'm trying to figure out if I can get an AMEX with a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy on my Experian report that was filed August 2022 and dismissed in December of that same year. They payment plan wasnt feasable, so I voluntarily dismissed it.
How are they with dismissed Chapter 13's?
If they were part of your BK that was dismissed. Next solar eclipse you might have a chance. Non-burnt 5yrs 1 months. Why was it dismissed?
The most critical important thing to do in order to get an Amex is to get in with them and build a relationship. I have a long post on here that explains exactly what you need to do and when to do it. If you follow it to the T you will have a perfect credit score (850) and Amex will be begging you for your business. If you can't find my post, reply back and I'll copy it and send to you.

Well, maybe, I've had 850s across the board since my discharged Chapter 13 fell off my credit reports, but by virtue of the fact AMEX got burned in my bankruptcy, even having a high credit score wasn't enough to coax them into giving me another chance.
Chapter 13:
I categorically refuse to do AZEO!
Yea if you burned them in BK the chances of getting in with them are slim to none unfortunately as they have a long good memory... The method I was suggesting only works if you've never burned them or are new to Amex.
Even if IIB they do eventually let some people back in although it may take more than 10 years....
This ^^^^^^^^^^ You can build a great file w/o AMEX. I didnt burn them and took 5 yrs to get in. By then I had over 10 nice cards.
I'm going to place my bet under the "not remotely likely" column.
