Having the hardest time getting approved for a vehicle. Went to a lot (Honda) today. They wanted 25% down for a newer Honda Accord 23k. They said they didn't run our credit because I told them I'm not putting that much down but it appears that they at least checked my credit. We are not going to be one of those stories where ppl get approved with credit union..low scores.already denied cap one &wells & carfinance.com...had a previous loan with Santander btw...any suggestion finance wise for those previously in a similar position thx
Edited to add.. Ended up getting 13% better than 18% orginally offered..2015 Honda Accord.
Are your credit reports accurate? Is everything updated properly to show Included In Bankruptcy and a zero balance?

yes they are..no repos.
Wells Fargo and Capital One offer sub-prime loans. I am not sure what they would require for a down payment though. Wells Fargo hooked me up many years ago when I had a score in the high 500s. I believe it was through Wells Fargo Dealer Services.

In my intial message I wrote that I was already denied by them and scores are in the high 500s

My bad, I somehow missed that. Take a look at this thread, post 14. A user reported 2.5 weeks after BK they were approved through Carvana:

yeah there are just so many different variables.hence our denials so far.
Have you been able to pick up a credit card yet? Even one month of a revolver showing payment history should help. You need something positive reporting asap
