Has anyone gotten an auto loan with nfcu after discharge? It seems they don't really go by credit score. I'm only 2 months post bk.
I'm not sure about Navy. I was able to get 3.18% APR new car loan from Capital One 6 months after my BK7 discharge. They even have a soft pull preapproval for it. It's 3 HP's if you actually apply for a loan but it's only a soft pull to prequalify. If you can't get one from Navy now you might consider Cap1 and then refi with Navy later. Hopefully someone who knows more about Navy will answer soon. Good luck.
I'm pretty sure the only things they approve are secured credit card and Share Secured loans Until 1 year after discharge.
@Hex Thank you. I tried the preapproval for cap 1 and got denied. I'll try again at a later date.
@Bankrupt2019 Thank you. And I have both of those.

Yeah, the only reasons for denial on my loan app was "Bankruptcy" I only applied to see what their denial reason would be. I'm 10 months post discharge.
@Bankrupt2019 do you know if it's a year to get an unsecured card also?

It is, the only exception is they will un-secure the secured card. Im pretty sure somewhere I read;
After 1 year is $1000 max limit
After 2 years is normal underwriting
